CIFAR researchers to lead National Academy of Sciences Sackler Colloquium

Co-hosted by the preeminent National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in the United States and CIFAR, the colloquium will convene a world-class, cross-disciplinary assembly of scientists in fields ranging from basic molecular genetics to population health.

Titled, “Biological Embedding of Early Social Adversity: From Fruit Flies to Kindergartners,” researchers will explore the latest findings surrounding biological embedding of early social adversity - how these early experiences set trajectories for the remainder of life. Better understanding of the role of these critical periods in development will help to ensure future success and well-being from the early years onward.

CIFAR is thrilled to be partnering with the NAS to showcase this unique expertise.Read more
